MAKE THE BEST JELLY SLIME DIY

JELLY SLIME RECIPE

Wait! Don't skip this slime recipe! If you hate slime because it gets everywhere, don't worry I'll share a little secret! I found the best hack to remove slime and save your furniture and clothes! I hated slime a few years ago until I learned slime has an antidote. VINEGAR in all caps because it literally melts slime away like it was never there! I promise!

Ok so now that I have convinced you to give slime DIY another try...I'm calling it jelly slime because it reminds me of crushed up water beads! The texture is so satisfying it feels like actual jelly! You have to try it to know what I’m talking about. I made a very similar recipe a few months back but I switched up the process and adjusted the ingredients to make this epic slime. Now it’s my new favorite!

Here's the thing about jelly slime specifically, if you want this specific jelly texture that is a bit more runny than regular slime, it's best to make it at home, and here's how to make the best homemade jelly slime.

YOU’LL NEED:

  1. 6oz clear glue

  2. Food coloring

  3. 1/2 tsp baby oil

  4. 1/2 tsp instant snow (you can add more for extra texture)

  5. 1/4 tsp baking soda

  6. 1 tbsp contact lens solution (make sure boric acid is listed in the ingredients)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the glue, food coloring, baby oil, instant snow and baking soda to a bowl and mix well. Let it sit for about 5 minutes so that the instant snow grows.

  2. Add the lens solution and mix until the slime sticks off of the bowl. Please note it will still be very sticky. Continue to mix and it will get better.

  3. Add some lens solution to your hands and play with the slime until it is no longer sticky.

Also, try to avoid adding more lens solution because it will make it rubbery. Only add more after a while of trying to get it perfect. If it gets too watery its probably because of the snow particles. Try adjusting with a bit more glue. Add it little by little so that you can get the perfect texture.

For better storage, store it in an airtight container.
