BANANA SUSHI SNACK RECIPE

CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SUSHI RECIPE

So I originally made this homemade sweet snack for the little ones, buuuut, it was so good I actually had it for myself! I mean it combines chocolate and sushi in one, how can it go wrong? I must admit though, it did take a little more work than I’d like for a snack but OMG they are so good! They serve as the perfect after school snack, a playdate kiddie icebreaker, or just a yummy dessert for kids (and adults too!)

Keep in mind this recipe does contain peanuts and dairy so watch out for those food restrictions. An alternative would be to skip the peanut coating and chocolate. It taste delicious either way!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Whole wheat tortilla

  2. 2 Spoons Peanut butter

  3. 1 Banana

  4. 1/2 cup Chocolate chips

  5. 1 TSP. of Coconut oil

  6. Handful Crushed peanuts

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Spread peanut butter generously onto the wholewheat tortilla.

  2. Place the banana on the outer edge and roll the tortilla and the banana together.

  3. Cut the roll into half and inch portions.

  4. Pour half a cup of chocolate chips and 1 tsp of coconut oil into a microwave safe bowl. Melt in the microwave for 1 minute.

  5. Dip the pieces into the chocolate and, later, the crushed peanuts.

  6. Serve and enjoy!!

Tip: If you don’t have coconut oil, you may substitute with a little bit of butter.

Try making this yummy snack recipe without eating it all before your little ones get to it! Ill be the first to admit I ate some myself! Let me know how it goes!
