STICKER TWIST MATCH CUPS

STICKER TWIST MATCH CUPS WITH KIDS

When you take your kids to the pediatrician, do they give your kids stickers at the end of the consult? Because they do mine and now I have a stock pike of these stickers laying around and I did not know what to do with them. Until now! I wanted to give this stickers a more useful purpose other than the girls sticking them all over their bodies and the house, so I created this fun at home activity for the girls.

This is my first DIY creation with the stickers and it only requires three materials to create a very long lasting game for your little ones. Use this kid friendly DIY to introduce your toddlers to the concept of under/over/in/out. Say, “can you place the cup over the matching one?” and watch them twist and turn the cups into place.

MATERIALS:

  1. Clear recycled plastic cups

  2. Stickers

  3. Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the stickers in half.

  2. Peel the backing off the bottom half and paste it towards the bottom of the cup.

  3. Place a cup on top of the one with the sticker. Grab the other half of the sticker and past it on the cup, making sure it is aligned to match perfectly with the sticker on the bottom cup.

  4. Repeat this process alongside the cup.

  5. Twist the cups to match the stickers in the right place.

Tip: Wash and reuse plastic cups. Also, if you wish to adjust difficulty level for older toddlers, you could cut the stickers in additional layers to make it harder to match. Hope you also find a fun way to repurpose stickers!
