GREEN POWER PANCAKES RECIPE FOR KIDS

I know this green pancake recipe might not seem like the most appealing but, to kids, they are very appealing! The healthy ingredients used will make you really happy and I promise these taste like regular pancakes and just as fluffy too! Plus, its nice to have something new in the breakfast rotation. Right?

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 ripe banana

  2. 1 egg

  3. 1 cup tightly packed spinach

  4. 1 cup white whole wheat flour

  5. 3/4 cup almond milk

  6. 1tsp balking powder

  7. 1/2tsp baking soda

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender. Mix well until you can’t see any pieces of spinach.

  2. Heat a large skillet on medium to high heat. Spray with non stick cooking oil.

  3. Add the batter to the pan. Make the size you’d like. Wait for it to bubble up and flip. Cook for another 2 minutes and serve.

TIP: Add a few extra pieces of fruit on top and some maple syrup😋
