HOW TO BUILD A MAZE WITH MAGNETIC TILES

DIY Magnetic Tile Ball Maze

I hardly ever purchase new toys (I am a fan of toy rotation and trust me it works!) therefore, I’m always looking for new ways to use toys I already have. This time, Im repurposing one of my favorite toys of all times. If you know me, you know my love for Connetix Tiles. They are the strongest, most amazing magnetic tiles for toddlers to play with. And there are so many things you can build with these, we’ve done towers, elevators, tracks… and here’s another one: A Magnetic Tile Maze!

I paired the tiles with an oven tray to take advantage of their magnetic strength and created a maze for a ball to run through. Using a bit of strength and balance, we moved the tray to run the ball through the maze. Super simple and really fun to try and get the ball out! It was a great balance practice even for me!

YOU’LL NEED:

  1. Magnetic Tiles

  2. Metal Baking Pan

  3. Ball

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the magnetic tiles standing up to build the track for the ball.

  2. Drop the ball at the starting point

  3. Holding the tray with both hands, balance it to get the ball moving through the maze
