CLEAN HANDS SENSORY BAG

CLEAN HANDS SENSORY BAG FOR KIDS

Tired of the hygiene activities? Please say no! This one is so fun! Scrub scrub scrub those germs away. But seriously, pushing the pom poms in and out of the hands is very entertaining, even for adults!

Just make sure to use soft bristle brushes or you might ripe the bag. And a little tip for little ones with razor claw nails, add a layer of clear packing tape to the front of the bag. It will prevent any leaks!

MATERIALS:

  1. Galloon size, freezer grade zip bags

  2. Clear hair gel

  3. Permanent marker

  4. Pom poms or beads

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Optional: Remove the label off of the bag using an alcohol pad.

  2. Place your Childs hands in the middle of the bag and trace them using a permanent marker.

  3. Open the bag and fill it with about 2 cups of hair gel.

  4. Add in the pom poms and seal the bag leaving no air inside.

  5. Turn the bag over so that the marker side is facing down.

  6. Push all of the pom poms inside the hands. Hand your little one a soft bristle brush and haver them “clean the hands” by scrubbing the pom poms away.

Tip: We usually keep our sensory bags but you can open it up, empty what’s inside, rinse it and let it dry. They can be reused for other sensory bags in the future
