MATCHING GAME- SOCK EDITION

My favorite activities are the ones that I can do with items I have in the house. This matching game anyone can do, literally anyone (hint- we all have socks hehe).

MATERIALS:

  • A few pairs of socks

  • Non-transparent bag

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: Separate the sock pairs. Lay one pair on the ground and put the other in the bag. Repeat until you've done this with all pairs. 

STEP 2: Have the child pull out a sock form the bag and match it to a sock on the ground.

I had to show Nicky a few times what we were doing exactly but she was able to get it eventually. For older children use socks that are very similar, like all white but different brands, to make it more challenging.
