Now this is what I call fine motor skills at its best! From holding a paint brush properly, to squeezing a spray bottle, to then cleaning off paint with a squeegee, this activity tested her abilities in every way.
I love doing activities that involve different skills and introduce new concepts. For this experiment, we practice fine motor skills using a medicine dispenser to squeeze in and out water as well as with a spoon to mix food coloring and water.
This past weekend we attended a birthday party where they served jell-o in a cup. Nicky had never had jell-o and was fascinated with the texture and jiggle. So I came up with this really fun clear gelatin and colored spaghetti activity. Let the dissection begin!
